Wayne Amateur Radio Club will be participating in the 2024 Ohio VHF Simplex Contest on January 20, 2024. We will be operating from the Comm. Center where club meetings are held. Setup will start at 9:00 am and we will operate at least until noon. If there is interest, we may operate longer. All are invited to join us, membership or license is not required. We will have licensed operators present to act as control operators. We will operate 3 stations under the club callsign as an EOC.
The Ohio VHF simplex contest is a 6 hour contest organized by the Ohio Section ARRL as an exercise to practice emergency communications on VHF and UHF. Rules have changed for 2024 so be sure to check the official webpage.
