Wayne Amateur Radio Club will be participating in the 2025 Ohio VHF Simplex Contest on January 18, 2025. We will be operating from the Comm. Center where club meetings are held. If able, show up early and help with setup about an hour before. All are invited to join us, membership or license is not required. We will have licensed operators present to act as control operators. We will be operating 3 stations for the event this year.
The Ohio VHF simplex contest is a 4 hour contest organized by the Ohio Section ARRL as an exercise to practice emergency communications on VHF and UHF. Rules have changed for 2025 so be sure to check the official webpage.
